Whos You Are....
So its black history month and i have yet to see anyone really paying respect/homage to any of these historical. Has celebrating Black History become a thing of the past? Do we not care anymore about the failures and the accomplishments of our ancestors? I was once told if you don't know where you've been, how can you know where your going?... Chew on that...Wake Up young people and get to know Whos you are. I'm not just talking about black/African American people...this goes for any and every race...Get to know your History so we as a young generation will not repeat the same mistakes our ancestors made.

It's crazy that I was thinking the same thing! Even attending a HBCU you'd think it would be more representation or participation in acknowledging the people who've made all these things possible. And sadly enough they aren't. Even the media isn't concerned with it being black history month, they're more concerned with pop stars and their relationships than educating through the most powerful source there is MEDIA! Yet they wonder why the generations continue to decrease in respect and integrity because its not being passed down like it used to be!!
